Safety & Health Officer

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in site.
  • Candidate must be a certified competent person and possess the Green Book.

 

Responsibilities

  • To prepare Environmental, Safety & Health summary report weekly
  • To monitor and identify any related environmental issue at site
  • Liaise and communicate with Site Safety Supervisor on related issue.
  • Attend meeting (site meeting / safety committee meeting) at site
  • Prepare and revise documentation for Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for each site
  • To coordinate all the environmental activities of the project and to provide liaison with the relevant authorities regarding Environmental matters
  • Responsible to prepare documentation for any audit (QESH audit, SIRIM audit) from client
  • To monitor the activities of Environmental program and also to provide supervision and coordinate the activities of the Environmental, Safety and Health Supervisors
  • To prepare and maintain records concerning environmental matters of the project for minimum period of (3) years
  • Responsible to liaise with clients, sub-contractors, Government bodies and local authorities on all Environmental matters.
